ANC statement on Jimmy Manyi

3 September 2012

The African National Congress thanks Comrade Jimmy Manyi for a sterling contribution in serving the ANC government. In the years he served as Cabinet Spokesperson and Head of GCIS he showed diligence, commitment and professionalism. Whilst we know that his task was not the easiest he did his best to keep our public informed about government decisions and programmes.

As he leaves government we wish him well in his new endeavors and we believe that he will approach it with similar energy and commitment. His role is not lost to the ANC and its government. He will remain an extension of our effort to serve our people with distinction and commitment.
